Average Rating for 4K Ultra HD TVs

    Quite an amazing TV.
We have now been using our 2019 LG 9000PUA 55" TV for a little over one week. We upgraded from a 40" 1080P LED TV. The picture quality from the upgrade is like night and day. Our main source is satellite TV that is standard HD. The LG TV has an upscaler that makes the standard HD closer to the look of 4K. There is more detail and better color than our old 1080P TV. The Full Array Local Dimming makes the dark scenes look a lot better although there is still a bit of a halo effect around objects ... read more in the really dark scenes (but not near as bad as our old TV).The smart functions on this TV are impressive and numerous. There are many built in apps for the most popular streaming services. We did use one to stream a 4k movie and the picture on it was Incredible. Makes you wish all programs were in 4K. LG also has their own channels you can stream. The TV is very easy to use due to the magic remote. All you have to do is point the remote at the TV. You get a pointer on the screen that you use to navigate the menus. You can choose from various scene options for the type of program you are watching or the type of room you are in (dark or lighted room). I prefer the HDR Effect mode. The actual look of the TV is very nice. It has a very thin bezel around the screen. Watching the TV for the last week or so has been a pleasure. The overall picture is stunning. It has enhanced our overall entertainment experience and makes watching movies even more enjoyable. I would recommend this TV to anyone the cannot afford the jump to OLED but wants the best LED TV on the market today. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

    It's a nice TV
We bought this TV to replace a Sony 65" that failed after just 4 years...we did not want to sink $2,000 into another TV so we bought this less-than-state-of-the-art unit. As far as both my wife I I can tell, the picture is not as good as the Sony. Maybe we need to play with the adjustments on the picture, but it just doesn't seem as crisp and detailed a picture we would expect from this 4K TV

    Nice picture
I bought this 65" QLed TV to replace a 60" Sony 3D TV that died. The picture on this TV is much better. It is not as bright as my Samsung but I don't have the brightness set as vivid as on the Samsung. The sound on this TV is very good since it is 40 Watts and the sound seems to come from the center of the TV. The TV wobbles a bit on the stand if moving around but it's stable when left alone. It is a little slow to shift inputs and to switch signals but I'm in no rush. I have not tested ... read more 4K content since out cable system is only 720p.

    2nd LG OLED
After having an LG OLED in my living room for 2 years I just had to have one for my mancave as well! I replaced a 55" Samsung 4K which wasn't bad, but WOW, what a difference. I went with the 65" LG OLED and it has totally changed my mancave!! Watched the Super Bowl in 4K and along with my Bose sound system I thought I was in Miami! A few extra bucks, but I'll tell you it is well worth it!!

    Excellent, as expected
This is my second Lg Oled tv. My first one was a 1080p model. This one is a 4k model. The upscaling of 1080i/1080p material (for example, tv broadcast) to 4k on this tv is very well done. After I purchased my first LG Oled tv I have already decided that I will only buy Oled tv's in the future. This second purchase of a newer model of LG Oled tv reconfirms my original decision.

    Best picture clarity bar none
I researched my next tv for months before making a decision. I ended up choosing the c9 oled because of the reviews and features. This was my first 4k set, and previously only bought sony TVs. This set blows every tv I've ever seen, out of the water. The black levels are insane, upscaling is on point. Bezel is thinner than the newest smart phone. The TVs operating system is fantastic and the magic remote is intuitive. The 2.0 hdmi inputs are a huge feature, that other tvs in the class ... read more lacked. I've been using the tv for about 4 months now and cant keep recommending it to everyone.

WOW! This is my 1st OLED ... just WOW!
I bought this TV a week and a half ago and I'm really glad I did. I was back and forth between this and a comparable Sony. I finally pulled the trigger on the LG and I'm very happy. While the OTB setting looked great I took some time to adjust the picture settings for my room environment and now this set shines. I'm impressed!

    Awesome picture
The quality of the picture in 4k is outstanding. Nothing like you've seen before. It also has a great selection of apps. I don't have to use another device to access different programming. The remote is different and takes a bit to get use to but once you learn the navigation for different features it becomes natural. The sound output on this TV has been an upgrade for me also. The only thing I could wish for is a hard copy owners manual or perhaps a pdf file to download. Not really crazy ... read more about the online guide format. Doesn't seem as easy to follow. Overall, I would highly recommend this TV for its picture quality and great design.

Outstanding picture and surprisingly good sound!
I've had this television for 2 weeks. It's my second LG; I also own a OLED55E7P. The picture is what I expect from LG OLED: exceptional. The surprise with this television is the sound from the TV itself. I'll be connecting to my Naim Uniti Nova and ATC speakers but the out-of-the-box sound of the E9 is at least as good as one might get from a decent sound bar. For my money LG sets the standard for video quality against which other manufacturers are measured.
