    Best phone so far.
I have had LG Phones for many years now and this is the best one so far my last one was the LG V10 and I thought it was the best but this one is even better I just love the phone and all of its features especially the camera it takes crystal clear pictures and it is so easy to use. This phone is in my opinion is where the term smart phone should have started. LG makes the best phones and I will always stay with LG phones as they say why fix something if it is not broken. LG stands for Life is ... read more Good and that is the way it should be. I would and have recommended this phone to friends and family.

    Fantastic Phone!
I ended up getting this phone on my upgrade at the suggestion of a friend and I positively loved it. It wasn't a big as my previous phone but, it was still awesome. I'm going to continue to purchase LG V line for now on.

    Great Phone!!!
This phone is great. For a 2 year of phone, it still keeps up with the latest phones. Ijust wish it had an IR blaster and removable battery like the V 20.I still keep the v20 around for those features.

Lots to love about this phone
This phone has an absolutely beautiful display. The sounds (voice, music, etc.) are crisp and clear. After disabling the Google Assistant, I can go 2-3 days without charging the phone, which is awesome because I use the phone for both personal and work. Mostly, I love that the phone did not come with a lot of needless apps already installed. The user interface is easy to pick up. My previous phone was from HTC, and I found the transition to this LG phone was easy, simple, and didn't require ... read more a lot of "personal retraining" to become accustomed to the LG layouts. Bravo LG on a well done design!

Nice, but NO Visual Voicemail on unlocked on AT&T
Great phone so far for this LG G8 ThinQ model. I purchased the "Unlocked" version, and I use AT&T across off of the phone we have in the family. I was surprised to learn that the typical visual voice mail app that AT&T provides on the LG G8 ThinQ phone that AT&T sells comes with a supplied Visual Voice mail app, and on the Unlocked version it is not available. I went to the google play store and there is NO version of firmware for the LG G8 ThinQ anywhere to be found for AT&T customers. Looks ... read more like T-Mobile and Verizon have it posted on the google store, by AT&T is totally missing. What's up with that. One should be able to download the applicable app easily, but for some reason AT&T is not posting the Visual Voicemail app for this LG G8 ThinQ phone. This is impacting customer satisfaction for both LG and AT&T. BTW - my iphones have had perfect working Visual Voicemail for about 4 years now. One iPhone was bought as an AT&T phone and iPhone is unlocked and we had no issues downloading Visual Voicemail to work on the iPhone. LG and AT&T need to work better together to make sure there is a Visual Voicemail app that can be downloaded from the Google play store specific to the LG G8 ThinkQ. Again, this should NOT be an issue I should need to mention and LG should lean in to AT&T and get this corrected and the Visual Voicemail app made available.

    Best buy for the money
Purchased in December 2019..so going on a month that I've owed phone..pretty good features. Though haven't had chances to use all of this feature packed cellphone..though one annoying problem I've experienced is the phone sometimes won't respond to my figure and or face recognition command/app..maybe am not doing something right..for I also owed a LG 7Thinq over one year and never any issues with figure or facial recognition to open phone..Thank You James Rodriguez

    all around great phone
I was offered this phone as a insurance claim since they didn't have anymore V-20's. So far I'm very impressed with all its features. Camera took a little getting used to with the 5 cameras. Very good phone for Lg. Always have been happy with Lg phones. I was going to trade for the stylo 5. Glad I didn't.

5 stars if it didn't come with AT&T bloatware
5 stars if it didn't come with AT&T bloatware and the FM radio wasn't disabled. I think to fix this I need to be able to unlock the bootloader on this lm-v405ua but it's not on the LG developer site as one that can be. I don't expect any help from AT&T. Other than that it's a great phone!

    A great phone for everything!
I bought this phone 2 weeks ago and have a great time using and showing this phone to everyone I can. The phone has great features and runs like a champ. Since day one I have put about 70+ apps on this phone and the performance hasn't changed. The phone has a great camera, or should I say cameras since it has a total of 5! Since this phone still has a headphone jack, this phone performs above and beyond any phones audio I have experienced. I have owned multiple LG phones and this by far is the ... read more best one I have owned and would recommend the LG V40 thinq to anyone I come across.

    Outstanding cell phone
It's been a month or two, I am using LG7. Well I am aware that newer model of G series there but must admit lots of features are in G7 and I really enjoyed it. This is the first time I switch to LG from other brand like Samsung. I used to be iPhone user then switched to samsung for many years. Now I am using LG G7 which is one awesome phone with many features. I wish I win this 500 dollar so I can upgrade my G7 to G8. Thank you LG for giving us this wonderful phone.

    Back to Happy!
Several years ago I owned a LG 4 and loved it. When it came time to upgrade, my wife and two kids decided to go with Samsung phones. I ended up with a Galaxy S8+. While the phone was reliable, there were little things that were different from what I was used to with the LG 4. All was well until we were able to pay off the phone, after 2 years of monthly payments... All of a sudden, the phone wouldn't accept a charge and finally decided it was completely dead. I was totally unable to retrieve ... read more ANY data off of it. MY GALAXY S8+ WAS A BRICK!! It was time to go back to happy so I bought the LG G7 ThinQ and couldn't be happier!! It's been a week and boy, things are peachy now. It's taking a little getting used to (going back to an LG phone) but I AM HAPPY! Thank you! Tom WC

    So customizable, beautiful screen
I have had this phone for a while now and unlike the Samsung galaxy phones I've had in the past, this phone has been pleasure to have, I do wish it had a bigger battery and I couldn't find the 128gb version but still am so happy with this and am pretty sure that I will purchase. se another LG phone for myself.

    Great Mid-Range
Positive: I puchased this phone from Metro late August/early September 2018. I was looking at the Stylo 4 because I have owned the entire Stylo line, 1-3. I saw this and was very impressed. I don't think any reputable brand has a mid-range with 4gb RAM and 64GB of storage. That matched with the beautiful design and impressive screen and the little features here and there sold me on this. It really is a great phone and more than what you'd need. I don't understand how and why people spend ... read more $800+ on a phone to scroll through instagram? Negative: Now, no phone is perfect. This phone does have a metal frame, but the back is a glossy plastic. I've had a case since I purchased it, and there are scratches through the whole back of the phone. Which that does bother me greatly because I take very good care of my belongings and hate to see all of these scratches. Now, for some reason when I got this I noticed the vibration sucks entirely. I can't feel it all in my pocket when it's on vibrate. Never had that problem on my other LG phones, but now the vibration does not work at all. Since it completely quit working, I'll chat with customer service to find a solution as I do have to keep my phone on vibrate at school and work. Lastly, I doubt they will keep this phone updated with future android updatse, I can only hope.

    I miss wireless QI charging
I googled this phone and read reviews that all of the LG Q7 phones could charge wirelessly. WRONG. Very disappointed.

    Meh, It's Okay
So I switched to this phone a few months ago. The charging is great and really quick. The memory however says 4GBs but when using the device there is only 2GBs free, so games which need lots of ram sometimes struggle to play on this device. Other than that I like the fast charging, the screen, the photos look amazing, Oreo 8.1 is a plus, large SD cards, and I like the NFC capability as well as many other features on the phone.
